My journey to founding Trusted Cremations stems from a lifetime of service. I am a graduate of Loyola University Chicago, where I earned a degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. While attending Loyola, I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and was honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal. Balancing college with military service instilled in me a strong work ethic, discipline, and accountability.
I devoted 29 years of my life to law enforcement, retiring at the rank of Commander for the Arlington Heights Police Department. Throughout my career, I took pride in my dedication to the community, helping those in crisis, and treating all people with dignity and respect. Towards the end of my law enforcement career, I attended Worsham College of Mortuary Science, and I have been a fully licensed funeral director in the State of Illinois since 2015. I saw my transition from law enforcement to funeral directing a natural progression in dedication to the community.
